Aquarian Catfish Tablets are carefully formulated to satisfy both the nutritional and foraging needs of popular aquarium catfish.

-They quickly fall to the bottom of the aquarium allowing catfish to receive food that contains optimum levels of vitamins and minerals. In contrast, foods that slowly descend to the aquarium floor leak many essential nutrients into the aquatic environment before it reaches the target species.

Giant Loricariid Catfish - A grazing species

- They break up slowly, enabling grazing species of catfish (e.g. many loricariids) plenty of time to forage on the food tablet. Slow dissolution also helps to preserve the nutrient content for a longer period of time than more conventional feeding formats such as flake.

- They contain 33% protein and all the essential amino acids required by catfish, including a rich source of alanine and arginine, two important natural attractants for catfish.

- In line with the rest of the Aquarian food range, Aquarian Catfish Tablets contain high levels of antioxidants, in particular vitamins C and E. These vitamins help boost the immune system, thereby helping the fish to ward of pathogens, including bacteria and protozoans that inhabit the aquarium substrate.
