There's no question that you'll catch more fish by mixing your groundbaits correctly. Whatsmore, it's easy, providing you've got the right equipment for the job and you follow a few simple steps.
|
1. Tools for the job: The groundbait, water, liquid additive (optional) and most importantly a
bucket and riddle
|
2. Tear the bag and pour the contents into a large bucket
|
3. If you're adding any liquid flavours, add them to the water you're using to wet the crumb
|
4. Add the water a little
at a time. All groundbaits are different, but as a
rule try adding one pint
of water per kilo of dry groundbait
|
5. Mix it vigorously together to ensure all the particles are wetted
|
6. Leave the mix to absorb the moisture for around 10 minutes
|
7. It is absolutely essential you riddle the groundbait to remove
any wetter lumps
|
8. When the mix is ready you should be able to
form a ball like this with one squeeze...
|
9. ...And it should return to fine particles when you press your hand on top of it.
