Benefits: Aquarium plants require certain essential nutrients for vibrant growth. Root Tabs are formulated to supply key nutrients, including iron and potassium, to help new aquatic plants get off to a vigorous start and to keep established plants flourishing.
Directions: Just add 1 tablet for each 30 square inches (194 sq. cm) of gravel surface. Push midway into gravel bed. A standard 10 gallon (38 litre) aquarium, for example, requires 6 tablets. Add new tablets monthly for optimum plant growth.
Tip: Most aquatic plants require water with a low to moderate hardness level. Tap water is often high in General Hardness (GH) and Carbonate Hardness (KH).
If your water is too hard, use the API Tap Water Filter to remove all hardness, minerals and undesirable nutrients from tap water.
