You & Your Rat
Rats are relatively easy to keep, they can be kept in singles or in colonies, it's entirely up to you.

You can feed your rat on pretty much anything, but a suitable mix of Supreme Reggie Rat Food supplies all the essentials that your rats will need. You can also give them bits of meat, like chicken, and bits of cheese. They also like quails eggs if you can get them!
Your rat will need lots of exercise, so give it things to do such as things to climb over and chew up, and maybe an excercise ball.

Rats also like things to hide in as well as climb all over. Just make sure you stimulate them and they will make a perfect pet, unlike what some people think due to the bad reputation rats get.
Some rats can be allergic to shavings. Even though they may look happy and show no signs of allergies when in store, they may still develop them later in life so keep an eye open for any differences in your rat.
