Why Buy Live Plants From Aquamania? |
Quality & Freshness
All of our live aquarium plants are of the highest quality, imported from some of the best plant farms in Singapore.
Each delivery of plants is freshly picked from one of the hundreds of farms, packaged straight into packets and boxed ready for air shipping to Manchester Airport (only around 30 mins from our superstore). They are then passed through customs without delay and brought to our superstore for unpacking and planting in our state-of-the-art plant housing tanks.
All plants are carefully unpackaged and planted in our spacious holding tanks in store, ensuring that each plant has ample space to live and is not cramped up with hundreds of other plants like you'll find with some mail order companies.
This process happens every week so you can be sure that the plants you receive are fresh, and haven't been left in store for weeks rotting away. We don't send out plants from previous weeks (except in some circumstances where the plant quality is still 100%).
Plants are sourced from various top suppliers around the world and only the best specimens arrive at Aquamania, the difference is obvious!
Regular Delivery & Dispatch
As we get a fresh delivery of live aquarium plants each week, we are able to guarantee that you won't receive dying/rotting plants. We get a delivery every Tuesday, and all mail orders are dispatched the same day via 1st class mail - so you'll receive your plants the day after they arrive from Singapore!
Not many mail order companies can offer this speed in dispatch and delivery, AS WELL as offering high quality bunches of plants.
Quantity
Live plants from Aquamania are mainly sold in pre-weighted bunches, so unlike some other companies you will receive more than one or two strands of each plant. The number of strands varies from plant to plant, but information can be found on each species' description when ordering.
This gives you the flexibility to plant your plants in bunches as they come, or seperate them out to fill your tank as required. We even include the weights and foam padding on each plant for the same price!
Late Cutoff Time For Ordering
Most mail order companies require that you place your live plant orders by Thursday the week before, so that they can dispatch early the next week.
However, here at Aquamania, you can order just ONE DAY before our plant delivery and still have your order delivered the same week! In most cases, orders up to the end of Monday will be sent on Tuesday following our fresh delivery and are delivered on Wednesday.
We order our deliveries earlier to get the first chance of the best plant selections, and have such a massive stocking facility that in 99.9% of cases the plant you order will still be in stock.
Occasionally, due to demand or seasonality, there may be limited stock of a plant. However, so as not to disappoint our valued customers, we will contact you at the earliest opportunity to discuss the options of an alternative plant or whether to place your order for that particular plant on hold until the next fresh shipment.
