How to order - tell us what type(s) of fish, amphibians or invertebrate that you are feeding and we will pick your chosen quantity of live foods that are suitable for this - you can also tell us which live foods you would prefer. Live foods available for offer on this mix & match deal are:

Daphnia are filter feeders and can be very beneficial in ponds and aquariums as they help to clear green water, as well as providing a tasty meal for most freshwater fish. Daphina are often used in School and College Science Lessons to test for the effects of Caffeine on there heart Rates as well.

Bloodworm provide benefits including boosted nutrition, vitamins and proteins, bloodworm and other live foods really are a superb addition to any setup. Fish love variety in their diets and feeding live food is a great way to provide different food types alongside your normal dry fish foods.

Tubifex worms are another choice in live fish foods that are especially handy for feeding to fish who are picky eaters and refuse flakes and other forms of live foods such as bloodworm.
 
Brine Shrimps are great at enhancing the colours of your fish species, where often reds and oranges along with Blacks all colour up more vividly.

Jumbo Bloodworm is a great part of a varied diet and feeding live food is a great way to provide different food types alongside your normal dry fish foods.

It is best for live foods to be stored in a fridge however we recommend feeding as soon as possible on delivery.  (Brine shrimp - store in cool and dark place)

We get regular fresh deliveries of live daphnia, bloodworm, tubifex worms and brine shrimp (and other live foods) every Friday, and all livefood orders are dispatched on Fridays, Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays with 24 hours shipping to ensure best quality on arrival to you.

During peak summer months (July and August), where the average temperatures around the country are above 25°C, we may withhold delivery of live and frozen foods. This is due to the heat and postal service holts, delays and changes that are common during this period where we cannot guarantee live or frozen deliveries arriving in fresh condition. Deliveries may continue once the temperatures have returned to normal or are more favourable.

During the months of July and August (based on hotter weather), bloodworms and glassworms may be less active due to their seasonal hatching around this time. These are still good and safe to use as foods.
