• Duckweed / Lemna Minor - Approximately 400-600 pieces per 5-7g portion
  • Duckweed is a fast growing, tank aiding, floating plant which provides some great benefits for your aquarium including reducing ammonia, nitrates, preventing some algae growth, providing some shelter for smaller / breeding fish, stabilises aquarium conditions and adds an extra food source for some fish.
• Salvinia / Salvinia Natans - Approximately 80-100 pieces per 5-7g portion
  • This floating plant provides an extra food source for herbivorous and omnivorous fish, provides shade for breeding fish and even acts as a hand in removing waste products and ammonia.
• Limnobium Laevigatum (Smooth Frogbit) - Approximately 5-10 pieces per 5-7g portion.
  • Frogbit is an easy to maintain plant with smooth, shiny green leaves which is great at lowering nitrates, nitrites and some ammonia from your pond or aquarium.

These plants aren't the fastest growing but specialist conditions in your aquarium are not required to maintain these bright green plants!

As we grow our own moss and floating plants, we aim for the best quality possible, we hope that you find our product well and for any advice, please don't hesitate to ask us.

Upon arrival, we recommend removing the plants from their packaging and placing them into your aquarium as soon as possible. Moss should be planted according to your preferred aquascape design to help them settle and begin establishing themselves in their new environment. Floating plants can simply be placed on the water surface and left to grow on it’s own.

As these are natural, living plants, some variation in size, colour, shape, and appearance is normal. Plants may experience a short adjustment period after being introduced to a new aquarium and can take several days to several weeks to fully adapt, re-root, and show new growth depending on the species and tank conditions.

Every plant is thoroughly inspected before dispatch and checked for unwanted pests, including snails. However, due to the nature of live aquatic plants, it is not possible to guarantee that plants are completely free from snails, snail eggs, or other microscopic organisms. Customers who require complete pest-free assurance should consider quarantining or treating plants before introducing them to their aquarium.

By purchasing live plants, you acknowledge that they are natural products and that minor cosmetic imperfections, seasonal variations, or temporary transplant stress may occur during shipping and acclimatisation.

Occasionally, multiple portions may be bagged into a single bag / tub. Additionally, tub portions may be packed in bags however they will still match the correct weight of the amount ordered.
