During peak summer months (July and August), where the average temperatures around the country are above 25°C, we may withhold delivery of live and frozen foods. This is due to the heat and postal service holts, delays and changes that are common during this period where we cannot guarantee live or frozen deliveries arriving in fresh condition. Deliveries may continue once the temperatures have returned to normal or are more favourable.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

It is best for glassworm to be stored in a fridge however we recommend feeding as soon as possible on delivery. 

During the months of July and August (based on hotter weather), bloodworms and glassworms may be less active due to their seasonal hatching around this time. These are still good and safe to use as foods.

Most live foods are heavily stocked every week and can be sent in larger quantities when needed.

Our less popular live foods including Baby Brine Shrimp, Mysis Shrimp, Phytoplankton and Glassworm are carried in a good amount of stock, however larger orders may be delayed whilst we get fresh stock in that following week.

Our cutoff time for larger orders is Monday 3pm - if you place a larger (25+) order after this time, we cannot guarantee that you will receive it that week and it may be delayed till the following week.
