Brine Shrimps are great at enhancing the colours of your fish species, where often reds and oranges along with Blacks all colour up more vividly.

The River (Ghost) Shrimp are semi-transparent and are laterally compressed. They have two pair of grasping legs near the head, five pair of legs for walking at mid-body, three pair of ciliated leg like appendages for swimming on what would be the abdomen, and one pair of hind legs to assist with eating in a curled position at the tail.

Mysis Shrimps are filter feeders, omnivores that feed on algae, detritus and zooplankton. Some Mysis are cultured in the laboratory for experimental purposes and are used as a food source for other cultured marine organisms.

Baby brine shrimp are an ideal food for delicate fish, fish fry and as food for invertebrates. They also can be used in both freshwater and marine tanks.

Copepods are a group of small crustaceans. Live Copepods are used in the saltwater aquariums as a food source and are generally considered beneficial in most reef tanks.

We get regular fresh deliveries of live daphnia, bloodworm, tubifex worms and brine shrimp (and other live foods) every Friday, and all livefood orders are dispatched on Fridays, Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays with 24 hours shipping to ensure best quality on arrival to you.

It is best for copepods to be stored in a fridge however we recommend feeding as soon as possible on delivery. Brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, baby brine shrimp should be stored in a cool and dark place. River shrimp should be transferred to a brackish water tank or used as soon as possible on arrival.
